#ATAGTR2017 – Global Testing Retreat – this year’s largest, best and most fun filled global testing conference is definitely an opportunity for people to learn, share and most importantly have fun. Grab a chance to meet and learn from Experts and presenters from across the Globe in #ATAGTR2017.
Among the speaker series we have here Mr. Abhijeet Vaikar, who would give us hands on tutorial on “Upgrading a mobile tester’s weapons with advanced debugging”
Abhijeet Vaikar is an Associate Quality Engineer currently working with Cognizant Technology Solutions, Pune with around 4.9 years of experience testing products on the web for desktop, mobile web and native apps. Apart from this, he involves himself in mentoring and knowledge sharing activities at his workplace. He likes to work on some hobby projects of his own in the test automation domain and he aims to make a significant contribution to an open source software some day.
Abhijeet was gracious enough to respond to some of our speaker introduction questions. Please find below responses from Abhijeet
2.What are you most looking forward to at this year’s conference?
There is a fantastic list of proposals that have been submitted and shortlisted for GTR 2017 and I would definitely not want to miss out on attending them. I am also looking forward to meeting and interacting with notable faces in the testing community like Santhosh Thuppad, Ajay Balamurugadas, and many others. Security testing and DevOps is not my forte (yet) and I look forward to gaining insights and knowledge on that from the community at GTR this year.
3.What do you like to do you in your free time? (your hobbies etc)
In my free time, I like to sing, discover new music on Spotify, read technology blogs and articles, learn new skills and enjoy street food.
4.Who is your inspiration? Please share some lines about the same.
I am inspired by Mark Zuckerberg because of his ability to dream big, vision to make a larger impact with his work and because he created Facebook, not with an intention to build a company and earn money, but it was cool then. The character of Rocky Balboa from the Rocky series and Chris Gardner whose story was shown in the film ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ – They inspire me to work hard to get what I want. Nothing comes easy!
Thanks Abhijeet for being candid about the queries. We welcome him to #ATAGTR2017!!
